A Leioceras sp. ammonite from Burton Bradstock, Dorset that has been carefully cleaned on both sides. In doing so, we can shine a light through the calcite to give a warm orange tone and highlight the suture pattern of the chamber wall.
Age: Middle Jurassic, approximately 167 million years old.
Location: Burton Bradstock, Dorset, UK.
Size of ammonite: Approximately 45 mm.
