An unusual cluster of Micraster sp. echinoids from Charmouth, Dorset. Whilst there are several echinoids still entombed or 'stuck' within the rock, the topmost echinoid can be plucked out and admired.
Please be aware that this rock has sharp edges and care must be taken whilst handling.
Age:Lower Cretaceous, approximately 100 million years old.

Size of loose echinoid: Approximately 47 mm.
Size of block:Approximately 14 cm x 12 cm at its largest points.
