An impressive ammonite multi-block from the 'woodstone' nodules at Charmouth, Dorset on the world-famous Jurassic Coast. This assemblage features a large Xipheroceras sp. as well as an associated Asteroceras sp. and Promicroceras sp. Taken together, this cluster makes for an aesthetic display piece.
Age: Lower Jurassic, approximately 195 million years old.
Location: Charmouth, Dorset, UK.
Size of ammonites: Approximately 13 cm (Xipheroceras), 5 cm (Asteroceras), 3 cm and 1 cm (Promicroceras).
